Labour Party Presidential Candidate Peter Obi Denies Receiving Apology from British Government Over Detention

Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), has denied receiving any apology from the British government over his recent detention by immigration officials at London’s Heathrow Airport.

In a statement released by the Head of Media and Communications for the Obi-Datti Presidential Campaign Council, Diran Onifade, the campaign team stated that they have not received any letter of apology and are not aware of any such apology being issued.

Onifade added that they have confidence in the British authorities to resolve the matter and have moved on from the incident, focusing on legal processes before the Election Petition Tribunal.
