Lesson To Learn From The Travails Of The Newly Consecrated Peter Cardinal Okpalaeke

There is a Lesson To Learn From The Travails Of The Newly Consecrated Peter Cardinal Okpalaeke Peter Cardinal Okpalaeke: If God decides that you’d drink a cup of water, you will. It may look rough or unachievable, but in His own time, it will surely come to pass.

Peter Cardinal Okpalaeke is the current Bishop of the new Ekwulobia Catholic Diocese, Anambra State. .

He was appointed Bishop of Ahiara Diocese, Mbaise, Imo State.

The people rejected him, vehemently refused that he’d be their Bishop because he’s from Anambra State.

They carried mock coffin, mocking him. For six years they refused that he’d be their Bishop.

Both Reverend fathers and Reverend sisters from Mbaise as well the the laity joined in the protest.

A sacrilege in the Mother Church, they defied the Holy Father, Pope Francis.

Today, Ahiara has no Bishop and the stone they rejected is now among those who will decide their Catholic faith/fates.

On Saturday August 27, 2022, he and about 20 new cardinals were consecrated by the Supreme Pontiff, Pope Francis.

With his consecration, he is among those to choose new Popes and take decisions concerning the church.

The stone Mbaise people rejected has become one of the corner stones of the church.

Congratulations, Your Eminence.
