A massive and captivating television campaign on one of the most character defining adages of the Igbo culture, “Turu Ugo Lota” has been launched by a household name in Nigeria beverage industry, Nigerian Breweries under the auspices of Life Continental Beer.
Turu Ugo Lota (Bring Home Glory) is a charge usually given by Eastern parents and guardians, encouraging their children in search of greener pastures to go out, conquer and bring home glory.
The unveiling currently ongoing at Base Landmark Enugu is kicked off with an epoch making socio cultural discourse with the theme “Bringing Home the Glory” led by prominent panelists from the Eastern region.
The panelists including a Veteran Nollywood actor, Chief Pete Edochie, the MD/CEO of the Anambra Broadcasting Service, Chief Dr. Uche Nworah, among others, discussed the potentials of the rich Eastern human resources and the need to continue to promote and uphold the spirit hard work and integrity across Nigeria and beyond.
In a key note address, the Nigerian Breweries Plc Sales Director, Chief Unuigwe, said that the idea behind the Turu Ugo Lota initiative, is to encourage the young ones that they have the capacity of succeeding and bringing home the glory irrespective of their background, culture, tribe and ethnicity.
The event which will host the conversation of robust Igbo ingenuity attracted dignitaries from the zone as well as some key stakeholders in the Nigerian Breweries Plc.
