Presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi, has called on Nigerians not to lose hope despite the challenges facing the nation. In his Easter message, Obi asked everyone to remember Nigeria in their prayers, believing that God can intervene in the situation of the nation.
“As we celebrate the risen Christ, I wish all Christians a happy celebration and pray that the message and blessings of the resurrection will remain with us. To our Muslim brothers and sisters who are well into the Ramadan fasting period, which will culminate in the Eid El Fitr, my special greetings and prayers are with you as we look forward to a joyous celebration,” Obi said in a statement.
Obi, who urged Nigerians to remain united in their trust in God Almighty, particularly the youths not to despair in the face of many challenges and tribulations that the country is facing, also thanked God for His blessings on Nigeria and prayed for a better and new Nigeria, where equity, fairness, peace, unity, accountable leadership, and prosperity shall reign.
With Obi’s message, he reminded Nigerians that it is essential to remain hopeful despite the nation’s challenges and pray for a better future for all.
