Okonkwo Samuel
The Man Osita Kingsley Ozalagba is a Native of Ichida, in Anaocha Local Government Area, Married to Lady Joy C Ozalagba, with kids. A Christian, of the Catholic faith. Candidate for Anambra State House of Assembly; Anaocha Constituency 2, under God’s Own Rescue Platform, the Labour Party.
Osita Ozalagba attended Creative Minds foundation primary School Onitsha, and finished as one of the best Pupils , having served as Class prefect from Primary 2, till he passed out in flying Colors, and was given a Merit award.
Young Ossy had a stint in Marist brothers Juniorate, Okigwe, but left for Federal Govt Colege Nise, where he exhibited outstanding leadership traits and was first made a room head in Jss 2, then Ss1, Got elected as House Captain, coupled with been elected Class Captain of his Class, positions he held till he graduated from Secondaryschool, in all these he Distinguished himself as a SELFLESS , Humane, Compassionate , Articulate Problem Solver, and a Creative leader, who sees challenge as a test of true leadership.
He was elected House Captain in Ss2, and went on to win laurels for his house, specially on the Inspection Saturdays, and Inter House Sports, he finished and was remarkably known as the Double Prefect, holding the Position of Class,and House Prefect Simultaneously till he passed out with good results.
He proceeded to NAU, where he obtained Diploma in Law, then obtained a degree in Political Science Education, in the course of his University years, Ossy became a Pioneer Congress Man, representing the Diploma Class, in the Law Studens Association, Later became President of the National Association of Anambra state Students;Unizik Chapter, and was as well elected the National President of Ichida Students Union World wide, which he served for two tenures, and its on record that he facilitated the institution of a Scholarship board , Facilitated the institution of a library, in honour of late Charles Muoka Jnr ,set up a functional and well equipped Administrative Office for the Students Union, and Ichida Education Board.
On graduation Young Ossy became a director in Osteen Table water Factory, which its on record that he applied new system in its Markeing Strategy that gave the Company a great sales boost, presently Ossy is a director in Advo Solar Company, a Marketing Officer for Razon Wines,and A Real Estate Realtor. Ossy is known to be a GOAL Getter as he believes that for every Challenge, there is a Solution.
Ossy later was admitted into Anambra State Civil Service ,to work in the Anambra State House of Assembly as a Legislative Officer, whom there duty is to train elected House of Assembly Members on how to make laws, drafting Bills, moving Motions, and how to engage in constructive Oversight Functions in the Ministries, Departments and Agencies of Government .
He later resigned from the Civil service to Join Politics, as he believes in his God given Capacity to make life more meaningful and Valuable to the people, through the Instrumentality of Government.
Ossy was later elected Pioneer President of Anambra State Association of Town Unions;Youth wing, umbrella body of the one hundred and seventy nine Community(179) Town Youth leaders of Anambra State, without anything on ground when elected, its on record that he handed over Assets (Brand new 30 seater Hyundai Coaster, and A functional Rice mill)worth millions of Naira to the Organisation.
In 2021 Ossy was unanimously made the Ag President of Association of South East Town Unions Youth wing;Umbrella body of the South Eastern Town Unions/Community, and as well elected last year 2021 leader of Anambra state Caucus of Ohaneze Ndi Igbo Youth wing;World wide.
There are numerous testimonies about Ossy, but due to time constraints, we will touch a few of his accompliments.

Ossy Ozalagba, has lost count of Awards given to him, as he believes that what should count, is the life’s he was able to lift up from hopelessness, depression and frustration into becoming Valuable and Prosperous
Ossy is one of the longest serving Central Executive Council member of his town Ichida, as he has served for sixteen ( 16 ) years in the Council of Ichida, and still serving, a Man who believes in applying new methods in tackling issues.
Ossy Ozalagba is the current Chairman of Ajani village Ichida, whom was elected in Dec 2020 and has rewrote the History of the village within One (1) Year in Office, by Championing the Installation of functional Solar lights round the Ajani Village, facilitated the remodelling of Nkwo Ichida Square in Ajani village, facilitated the construction of 120 seater Capacity Pavilion, with a Mini Cinema, interlocking of the whole square, facilitated the Setup of Ezinne Theresa Chiekezie Computer Centre, offered Mandatory Free Computer classes for pupils in the only primary school in the village, institution of an Adult Education Centre to avail our Elder Citizens, and unfortunate Youths who didn’t acquire Secondary Education to further there Education under Great Comfort,without Paying any fee (Free Education).
The Young Man Osita Ozalagba, is a breath of fresh Air in all Ramifications, and a New Political Vibe that will Restore Hope and support families to succeed through Creative leadership. He his revered to be a Man with Creative ideas in making life more meaningful to All.
Humble, Humane,Great thinker, Result Oriented, Compassionate and SELFLESS.
He is seen as a new Generation of Mr Peter Obi in Service Delivery, and nicknamed “Nwa Peter Obi” for his Penchant to add Value to lives .
