Plot To Unleash Mayhem On Anambra state: Urgent Call To Arrest The Situation.
Your Excellency, we are very worried now.
Some desperados and power- drunks have put their hands on the trigger, and, are ready to unleash mayhem on our beloved Anambra state. So, we are, therefore, constrained to write, to alert you, and, solicit your quick intervention to avert the impending catastrophe.
Those who want to plunge the youth of our state into crisis and thereby turn our beloved state into a battle-field are a gang of rebels within in our state chapter of the National Youth Council of Nigeria, NYCN.
Your Excellency, as you are aware, NYCN is the apex-body of the Nigerian youth. This organisation is currently led by a very dynamic, patriotic, energetic, and visionary youth as the National President. He is Ambassador Solomon Adodo with Comrd Nnonyelu Williams (Al-Mustapha)as Vice-president South East zone, and, Comr. Julius Nnaji, Organising Secretary, South East zone.
Your Excellency, before the inauguration of your administration on that historic March 17, 2022, the Anambra state chapter of NYCN had been in deep leadership crisis resulting to the existence of two factional leaderships parading themselves as the authentic executives of the organisation in the state. As a result of the situation, the teeming energetic, highly talented, innovative and visionary youth of Anambra state lacked a credible leadership and platform needed to mobilise them for purposes of harnessing their abundant energies, talents and visions toward advancing their individual future career and contributing to the much needed development of our beloved state.
Upon the inauguration of your administration, and, in realisation of the need to reposition the NYCN for purposes of making it a formidable platform for the assemblage of the youth of the state to enable them contribute their quota toward the realisation of the lofty programmes and policies of your administration, the Adodo-led NYCN national leadership decided to dissolve the factional leaderships of the organisation in the state. He constituted a Caretaker Committee to oversea the affairs of the organisation in the state for a first six months period.
The Caretaker Committee which comprised 18 members selected from across the three Senatorial zones of the state, including Anambra Central, Anambra North and Anambra South was given the following key mandates: to identify the real issues behind the crisis in Anambra state chapter of the NYCN; resolve every lingering issues amongst members of the council in the state, and, to conduct an election into the state chapter of the council.
The Caretaker Committee was consituted on Thursday May 12, 2022 at Nigerian Youth House, Abuja with a very dynamic, energetic, patriotic and visionary Anambra youth, Comr. Onuzulike John Udemezue as the Chairman.
Very sadly, however, is that just about two days after the Amb-Adodo- led NYCN national leadership, took this most patriotic decision and constituted our Caretaker Committee a gang of youth in the state attempted to rebel against the decision of the national leadership.
They stormed and seized the state secretariat of the apex-Youth body, located along Raegina road, Awka, and proceeded to ASATU HALL inside government house were they attempted to organise an illegal election into the Anambra state chapter of NYCN contrary to the constitution and decision of the national body, but, just as expected, they ended up turning the ASATU state secretariat into a battlefield. They started fighting against each other, destroyed some chairs, floor tiles ,tables and other valuables at the state secretariat before deserting it.(Incident happened on 14th of May 2022) Verifiable
Most unfortunate, however, is that our findings showed that the arrowhead of the rebellious youth is a former chairman of NYCN in state.
The Genesis
The last administration did not observe the constitution as stipulated,that electoral committee should be set up 90 days before the tenure of the incubent chairman elapsed, which they failed to do even after a month the chairman was impeached, They created vacuum ,Hence the national leadership set up a caretaker committee via the office of vice president Southeast Comr Nnoyelum Williams Onyibor (Al-mustafa)
Moreso there was no faction in Anambra state youth council until the tenure of Dr Willie Obiano ,were some people in his government created faction
After the chairmanship of Nwabufo from Anambra Central,it was Frank Mmaduka from ( Anambra Central) after Frank Mmaduka it was Hon.Nonso smart (Anambra South)The organization took Nonso Smart to court and court affirmed Nonso Smart line up as the authentic National youth council of Nigeria Anambra state chapter (judgement attached) the same line-up consituted the current caretaker committee led by Comr Onuzulike John Udemezue
We, therefore urge you, Your Excellency, our most beloved Governor, Professor Charles Chukwuma Soludo, to call this individuals very close to government and his co-travellers to order, so that they give the youth of this state opportunity to galvanise themselves and chart a course for their future and as well, contribute their own quota to your administration’s onerous task of developing our beloved Anambra state.
Insider information revealed that the same set of people are planning another election soon ,We therefore urge your Excellency to investigate and stop them before they cause mayhem in our peaceful state
Your Excellency, NYCN Anambra state is eager to join forces with your administration in the task of transforming our state.
We, therefore, sincerely appeal for your intervention to restore sanity in our state chapter of NYCN.
