Senior Pastor of Dunamis International Gospel Centre, Pastor (Dr.) Paul Enenche, has expressed his belief that Nigeria is currently going through a dreadful phase. Speaking during an Easter Sunday celebration at the church’s headquarters in Abuja, Enenche said that anyone who claims that the country is in its best days is either a pathological liar, demon-possessed or demented. He called on congregants to pray for the country to regain its lost glory.
Enenche’s comments come at a time when Nigeria is facing several challenges, including insecurity, economic recession, and rising inflation. The country has been grappling with violent crimes such as banditry, kidnapping, and terrorism, which have led to loss of lives and property. In recent times, there have also been attacks on schools and students, with some being kidnapped for ransom.
Enenche’s comments were made after a group called for his arrest over an alleged inciting comment, but the call was later withdrawn.
