Okeke Ogene Hands Over To New Ohaneze Anambra President, Emeka Udodeme

The New Anambra State President of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Chief Prince Emeka Udodeme (Odegba) on Tuesday, 19th January, 2021, officially took over from the former President, Chief Damian Okeke Okene.

The handover ceremony took place at Ohaneze Ndigbo Secretariat situated at 39 Regina Caeli Road, Awka, Anambra State.

Chief Udodeme promised to use his position to advance the interest of Ndigbo. He stressed the need for a befitting Secretariat for the association and to entrench Ohanaeze Ndigbo at the grassroot level.

The ceremony was witnessed by the National President of Anambra State Association of Town Unions (ASATU), Barr. Titus Akpudo.

Ohanaeze Ndigbo is the apex Igbo socio-cultural group in Nigeria. The group represents Igbo communities within and outside Nigeria.
