Old Criticism of President Bola Tinubu Resurfaces Amidst Ministerial Nomination of Nigerian-British Entrepreneur, Olatunbosun Tijani

A tweet from the past, in which Nigerian-British entrepreneur Olatunbosun Tijani criticized President Bola Tinubu, has recently resurfaced on social media. Tijani, the CEO and co-founder of CcHub, is among the ministerial nominees in the second batch forwarded to the Senate by President Tinubu.

The old tweet, which has since been deleted, made a comment about Tinubu and his administration. In response to others on July 23, 2019, Tijani expressed his thoughts, referring to Tinubu’s “serving power a la carte” wisdom and criticizing the narrative.

Netizens have reacted to the tweet’s revival, with some noting the irony that Tijani now has to work with Tinubu and prove his mettle in the same context he once criticized. Others are curious to see if Tijani will accept or reject the ministerial appointment offered by Tinubu. Despite the tweet’s reappearance, Tijani’s current position on the matter remains to be seen.
