Onyejeocha Media Advocates (OMA) has congratulated Prof Maduebibisi O. Iweh for emerging as the 6th Vice Chancellor of Michael Okpara University, Umudike.
In a press release signed by its founder, Mr Obika James Abuchi described the professor of Food Science with over 51 international recognized publications as God’s send to the institution and wish him success in his new assignment.
The letter reads in part:
“I write on behalf of Onyejeocha Media Advocates to offer you our most sincere congratulations on your well-deserved appointment as the 6th Vice Chancellor of Michael Okpara University, Umudike by the Governing Council.
Sir, your emergence didn’t come to us as a surprise going by your track records and your vast experience, We are delighted with this development and hereby wish you success in your assignment”.
It will be recalled that Prof Iweh scored the highest point among the 30 candidates that applied for the position, according to the Vice-Chancellorship Selection Board.
Maduebibisi, until his appointment, was the Editor-in-Chief, Nigerian Food Journal, Member, Institute of Food Technologists, Chicago, USA. He is a Fellow, Nigerian Institute of Food, Science and Technology; Institute of Public Analysts of Nigeria.
