Communities in Orumba North and South Local Government Areas of Anambra State have extended their congratulations to Chief Chijioke Nwankwoeze on his recent appointment as the Director of Lands in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja.

Speaking on behalf of the 31 communities in the Orumba region, Chief Obi Okoli, also known as Onwa Nawfija, described Nwankwoeze’s appointment as a historic achievement for the Igbo community. This appointment marks the first time an individual of Igbo descent has been appointed to the prestigious position of Director of Lands in the FCT.

Chief Okoli praised Chief Nwankwoeze, calling him a worthy ambassador for Orumba, whose dedication and leadership qualities have brought recognition and pride to the community. “This appointment is a significant moment for Ndigbo in general and Ndi Orumba in particular. Chief Nwankwoeze has proven himself as an outstanding representative of our people,” Okoli stated.
