In continuation of the inspection visit, the honourable commissioner for works Abia State, Barr. Bob Chiedozie Ogu in company of the Permanent Secretary of the ministry, Engr Sunday Okpara and the director of maintenance, Engr Ememe also visited the 10.8km Owo-Ahiafor to Onicha-Ngwa road Obingwa.
The construction of the aforementioned road which is currently 90 percent near completion will serve as an ulternative road to Akwa-Ibom while the reconstruction of Aba Ikot-Ikpene road will be going on.
Inspecting the Laying of Asphalt, Barr Ogu expressed delight in the massive infrastructural development going on in the state.
He attributed that to the dexterity and efforts of the Governor to positively change the narrative of the state in terms of road infrastructure.
The commissioner, expressed satisfaction over the progress of work and assured that the project will soon be completed while charging the contractor to maintain the standard.
