PDP May Not Have Candidate On November 6 as Ugochukwu Uba secures court order against PDP, Val Ozigbo and INEC

Senator Ugochukwu Uba, the factional governorship candidate of PDP has secured an order of the court against Valentine Chineto Ozigbo , PDP and INEC.

The order which was issued by Justice Obiorah Nwabunike of the state high court Awka ordered PDP to stop parading Val Ozigbo as the candidate of the party for November 6 governorship election.

It also ordered PDP not to submit the name of Val Ozigbo as the candidate of the party for November 6 governorship election.

And ordered INEC not to receive the name and particulars of Val Ozigbo as the candidate of PDP for November 6 governorship election.

The court granted an order for accelerated hearing of the substantive mater and also granted a leave for Ozigbo to be served by a substituted means.

The court said the order stands pending the determination of the suit.

The implication with this order is that PDP may not submit the name of any candidate to INEC before July 9, which is the last day for political parties to submit name of their candidate to the Commission.
