The leading governorship aspirant for the November 6 election, Senator Uche Ekwunife moments ago exercised her franchise as one of the delegates at the ongoing south east zonal convention of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) holding at Micheal Okpara Square, Enugu, Enugu State.
Ekwunife who spoke to the press, shortly after she voted, appreciated the Governor of Enugu State, Rt. Hon Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi for making the venue available for the all important convention. She stated that she is confident that the process will produce zonal officers that will be a blessing to the party in the south east.
Ekwunife who represents Anambra Central Senatorial District, expressed appreciation to God and the convention committee for the smooth process. She noted that having a focused and competent south east zonal leadership will strengthen the party across the five states of the zone.
