PDP Youth Leader Criticizes Ministerial Appointments, Calls for an End to Cronyism in Government

The Deputy National Youth Leader of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Timothy Osadolor, has expressed his disapproval of some names in the ministerial list and the appointment of house committee chairmen in the National Assembly. He believes it is unfortunate that failed ex-governors have been appointed as cabinet ministers at a critical time when the country is facing numerous challenges.

Osadolor criticized the government’s approach, calling it a “government of cronyism,” and raised concerns about appointing children of ex-governors and top government functionaries as committee chairmen, stating that some lack the necessary knowledge and experience. He emphasized the need for fairness and justice, urging the government to prioritize merit and competence over political connections.
