A new political slogan, “Peter Obi Is Possible (POP),” was birthed on Thursday, 15 January 2026, as the member representing Anaocha, Njikoka and Dunukofia Federal Constituency, Rt. Hon. George Ozodinobi (Aja Ajanze), met with Labour Party structures in a well-attended gathering that brought together old members, new members, and aggrieved party faithful from the constituency.
The meeting served as a platform to mobilise support for the 2027 presidential ambition of His Excellency, Mr. Peter Obi, as party members openly declared their loyalty and readiness to move forward in unity. The venue was filled with chants and strong expressions of solidarity for the Obi 2027 project.
Speaking at the meeting, Rt. Hon. Ozodinobi said his support for Peter Obi did not start today, recalling how both of them contested elections under APGA in 2003, with Obi winning the Anambra governorship and himself emerging as the first APGA candidate to win a seat in the National Assembly. He noted that his political journey has remained aligned with Peter Obi over the years.
The meeting also provided room for reconciliation, as aggrieved members aired their concerns and were addressed, leading to renewed unity and chants of support for Peter Obi and Aja Ajanze.
Rt. Hon. Ozodinobi stressed that the gathering was not about his personal ambition but strictly about Peter Obi and the 2027 presidential project. He added that wherever Peter Obi goes, that is where he stands.
The meeting was attended by party executives, stakeholders, friends, and well-wishers. Transport support was provided for participants, with a stakeholder also donating ₦1 million to support the exercise.
The birth of “Peter Obi Is Possible (POP)” signals renewed unity, mobilisation, and grassroots momentum ahead of the 2027 presidential election.
