Dear Ada Ozubulu,

Be rest assured of the support and prayers of people living with sickle cell disorder in Anambra State. We are making this solemn allegiance because of what we went through in the hands of people whom God placed in the position of authority to look after the downtrodden, the sick and the Underprivileged persons in the society yet the intoxication of the power and wickedness of their heart could not let them have a sense of reasoning nor having any conscience to be sensitive to the plight of the suffering sick ones.

We are making this solemn prayers believing that God of justice, equity and fairness would never let us down in this transition of power to the next 8th Assembly.

It feels so painful to watch female lawmakers who ordinarily should be very sensitive to the plights of the vulnerable in the society yet they do nothing and see it as if one is personally begging to be given a breath of life which God himself gave us for free.

No one prays for an undeserving treatment or any man inhumanity to another, regardless of whom it may concern when in an exhalted position. As a gender sensitive to the plights of her children and the Underprivileged persons, we pray that God grants us our humble request to see you through the electoral journey as we struggle to survive for a better tomorrow.

We are confident that your excellent leadership prowess would be a litmus test and consolation for the hope of the common masses.

May God give you the energy and sound mind to contest and win in a landslide victory that would be remarkable in the annals of our history. Kindly accept the assurance of our high regard to you.

Aisha Edwards Maduagwu,
Director,
Sickle Cell Orphanage and Underprivileged Home Agulu.”
