The suspected mastermind of the attack on Okija Police Station, Ihiala Local Government Area in March has been arrested.
The Commissioner of Police, Anambra State, Mr Echeng Echeng made the revelation at the state police command headquarters while receiving the Assistant Inspector of General of Police in charge of Zone 13, Ukpo, Mr Umar Mauri who was on a working visit to the command.
The police commissioner revealed that the suspect and three members of his syndicate were arrested yesterday, Wednesday August 31, 2022
He explained that suspects are helping in further investigations.
As at the time of this report, the police authorities are yet to reveal the identities of the suspects to the press.
Two police officers were killed in the attack.
