President Tinubu Receives Warm Welcome as He Returns from Kenya

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu received a warm welcome upon his return from Nairobi, Kenya, where he actively participated in the 5th Mid-Year Coordination Meeting of the African Union (AU).

The President’s delegation included Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Senator George Akume, Chief of Staff to the President, Hon Femi Gbajabiamila, Imo State Governor, Senator Hope Uzodinnma, and former Kano State Governor Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje.

The homecoming ceremony took place on Monday at the Presidential Wing of Nnamdi Azikwe International Airport in Abuja. President Tinubu was greeted by the esteemed dignitaries who eagerly awaited his arrival, demonstrating the significance of his engagement at the AU meeting.

President Tinubu’s presence at the 5th Mid-Year Coordination Meeting of the AU underscores Nigeria’s commitment to regional cooperation and strengthening African unity. The meeting served as a platform for leaders to discuss vital matters concerning the continent’s progress and development.
