The member representing Ekwusigo, Nnewi North and Nnewi South in the Federal House of Representatives , Engineer Chris Azubogu has condemned the attack on ‘Walk For Life’ sports event organised by Mr Valentine Ozigbo, founder of Valentine Chineto Ozigbo Foundstion, in Nnewi this Saturday morning (06/02/21).
Honourable Azubogu, while condemning the barbaric destruction of the stage and facilities put in place for the sports event of Ozigbo, asked the security agencies to immediately swing into action and arrest the perpetrators and bring them to book.
In a personal message to Mr Ozigbo, Azubogu said that such behaviour does not represent Ndi Nnewi or PDP, their political party. “My brother Val, I just read on the media of the condemnable act which in no way represents our party or our people. I stand with you to ensure that the culprits are brought to book. Just to assure you of our regards”, the message read.
