The Rotaract Club of Awka GRA has honoured Rtn. Dr. Uche Gabriel Confidence with its prestigious Professional Service Award for his outstanding contributions to professional excellence and community development.
The recognition came during the Club’s 19th Presidential Installation Ceremony, held on Saturday, October 11, 2025, at De Geo-Gold Hotel and Suites, Awka, Anambra State. The event also marked the formal installation of Rtr. Kingsley Chikamso Chidiobi as the 19th President of the Club.
According to the organizers, the award celebrates Dr. Confidence’s exemplary leadership, integrity, and dedication to the ideals of Rotary — particularly in promoting ethical standards and selfless service within his profession and the wider community.
In his remarks, Dr. Confidence thanked the Club for the honour, describing it as “a motivation to continue impacting lives through service, mentorship, and professional excellence.” He dedicated the award to all Rotarians and Rotaractors who remain committed to Rotary’s core values.
The colourful event attracted members of the Rotary family, distinguished guests, and youth leaders from within and outside Anambra State. It featured the induction of new members, the presentation of awards to deserving individuals, goodwill messages, and lively entertainment.
The Rotaract Club of Awka GRA, a youth arm of Rotary International, continues to champion humanitarian service, youth empowerment, and leadership development across communities in Anambra State and beyond.
