The 2022 Schwarzman Scholars Scholarship Programme for International Students has opened applications for students willing to pursue a postgraduate study in China.

The award provides a fully-funded scholarship to qualified students all over the globe covering tuition, airfare, accommodation and monthly stipends. Additionally, Schwarzam scholars are provided with study tour and course book allowances.

Schwarzman Scholars brings together a diverse cohort of young leaders from all regions and sectors of the world who embrace each other’s differences while working on a joint mission. Scholarship Details:
Schwarzam scholarship offers a one-year, fully-funded master’s program at Tsinghua University in Beijing, designed to build a global community of future leaders who will serve as global leaders, reflects the diversity, vibrancy and promise of the world at large.

Schwarzman Scholars embrace the opportunity to understand other cultures, perspectives and positions. Candidates who are most qualified to meet the high demands of the program. Schwarzman Scholars supports up to 200 Scholars annually from the U.S., China, and around the world for a one-year master’s in global affairs at Beijing’s Tsinghua University — ranked first in Asia as an indispensable base for China’s political, business, and technological leadership.
Scholarship Requirements:
In addition to demonstrating extraordinary leadership skills, the ability to anticipate and act on trends and changes in their context, strong intellectual capacity, and exemplary character, candidates must meet the following criteria;

Must have an undergraduate degree
Must be 18-28 years of age
Must be proficient in the English language

To apply, candidates must be ready to submit the following documents;

Complete online Application Form
Resume or CV (maximum 2 pages).
3 Letters of recommendation
Essays- Leadership Essay (750 words) and a Statement of Purpose (500 words).
Academic transcripts
A short video self-introduction of no more than 1 minute.
Method of Application
The application must be completed online and submitted electronically once you have answered all the required questions. The application form must be completed in English.

A select number of candidates are invited for interviews in late October and early November before an international panel of leaders from a variety of backgrounds. These interviewers draw on their leadership experience to identify a cohort of highly accomplished candidates whose paths to leadership will be enhanced by an introduction to China and its global role.
