Let’s Sacrifice for Peace
– Mrs Obiano’s Easter Message
The wife of Anambra State Governor and founder of Caring Family Enhancement Initiative (CAFE), Dr. Mrs. Ebelechukwu Obiano(Osodieme) has called on Anambra women to work hard to ensure that peace reigns in the state during this Easter and beyond.
Mrs Obiano made the plea in her Easter message which was signed on her behalf by the Deputy Chief Press Secretary to Anambra State Governor, Mr Emeka Ozumba.
According to Mrs Obiano Easter is a culmination of the season of passion which signifies the sacrificial love of Christ for humankind. She urged all to pray for sustenance of regime of peace and security which the state has enjoyed over the years.
“Mothers should derive inspiration from the the role of the Blessed Virgin Mary, the Mother of Christ and other women during the Passion of Christ, and be dedicated in prayers for the good of our families and our state so that the miracle and love of the Risen Christ will pervade our land”.
Mrs Obiano equally commended the Governor of Anambra State for his strength of character and restraint amidst daunting challenges, stressing that God Almighty who destined the state as the Light of the Nation will continue to guide him successfully so that his passion and sacrifice in service of Anambra State will not be in vain.
