Update On The Crisis In Anambra State House Of Assembly.

APGA House of Assembly members held a meeting this evening with the governor. In the meeting, they were promised 100 million naira each for them not to join those who have defected to APC.
But AIF Media was authoritatively informed that 5 of the House members present at that meeting had made up their minds to defect and that no amount of money can stop them. They only attended the meeting for formalities.
The defection of the 5 APGA House members will signal the beginning of the impeachment on both the Speaker and the governor.
As I write, the 6 PDP House of Assembly Members are currently holding a secret meeting with some APC leaders at Enugu. The PDP House members are under pressure to decamp to APC in order for the party to have the majority to impeach the governor before November 6 governorship election.
But AIF Media was told by a source privy to the meeting that 5 of the 6 PDP House members said they should be given enough time for consultation while one of them has sold out.
The PDP House member who allegedly sold out was said to have collected money and will soon decamp to APC.
However, while all these are going on, the Speaker is in London where he travelled for vacation but with this development he has abandoned his vacation and may return to the country tomorrow to fight for his survival as his impeachment has already been concluded.
He will be sacked on September 21 for a new Speaker to come in and do the last damage.
