Yesterday, January 16, 2021 the Ikemba Ndigbo, Senator Dr. Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah led Anambra Progressives kicked started the process of rejigging the economy of Anambra state and that of southeast region.
At a grand breaking ceremony yesterday, the ANAMBRA PROGRESSIVES officially held a GROUNDBREAKING/FOUNDATION laying ceremony of the ANAMBRA PROGRESSIVES INDUSTRIAL CITY AND BONDED TERMINAL PROJECT AT AMICHI, NNEWI SOUTH.
The Anambra Progressives Industrial City and Bonded Terminal is poised to become an economic model for the rest of the country. It will strengthen the local economy of the state built on the foundation of commerce, skilled labour, entrepreneurial ability and innovation.
The project is an initiative to support the state’s economy and foster economic growth so as to achieve the desired development goals. The vision according to the Progressives is for Anambra to be a leading investment destination with abundant economic opportunities.
This huge project is coming at a time the failed APGA govt is selling off many assets and properties of the state.
This has marked a difference between APGA and the Progressive igbo minds led by Senator Dr Ikemba Ifeanyi Ubah.
While APGA leaders are extorting Ndigbo especially the party aspirants and scamming them, the APGA govt is squandering the public fund meant to address the challenges in the state. It has gone further to put on sale most of the public assets entrusted in its care on behalf of our people.
The Anambra south senator has just instituted a paradigm shift, instilled trust and restored the hope of our people that we can still get it right by electing those who can harness our human resources and use same to drive development.
The Anambra Progressives Industrial City and Bonded Terminal will serve as a catalyst for the state to be on an accelerated development trajectory.
Ubah has shown that he will not sit back as others are doing to wait for federal allocation at the end of every month. He has shown his ability to look inward and use what we have to create a new wealth to grow our economy.
This is the best approach to the Igbo Think-Home Initiative.
The Anambra Progressives Industrial City and Bonded Terminal when completed will further strengthen our local economy, create thousands of employment opportunities and stand as a reference point for unborn generations.
