Prof Charlse Soludo, the former CBN Governor and current Economic adviser to the president Buhari, who is also the governorship candidate of APGA quoted to have said that he will definitely revise the anti-open grazing if voted into government. He maintained that Fulani herdsmen are our friends and have contributed to the growth of Anambra economy.
The Isuofia born politician who is currently behind the crisis in his home town, Isuofia on issue of Autonomous Community( Isuanioma/Isuofia) stated that as an Economist and an economic adviser to the President, Buhari, that it is wrong for him to adopt this anti grazing law passed last week.
According to the report, soludo said during one of his campaign last week, that “You will remember that Southern States gave September 1st as deadline for the passing anti grazing law, I prevailed on Governor Obiano not pass the bill on the economic angle after all, Obiano led govt is already paying N500,000 per head (Anyone killed by armed herdsmen, the family will be paid N500,000). I will rather increase it N1million instead of passing anti grazing. Unfortunately, Obiano later bowed to pressure on the ground that we are running for election. The reason Anambra is the last to pass the bill. But like I said, I will overturn the act”.
Prof Soludo, who is still not produced Hospital at Isuofia which money was raised for in 2008
(13years today), further call on Anambra people to see reason with him on economic angle on the issue of anti grazing law.
Anti-Open Grazing Bill is a call for Anarchy and strains relationship with Fulani, Soludo insist.
