As the year wind down, Anambra State Signage and Advertisement Agency enforcement team this week were on the streets of Awka to enforce the payment of the signage levy.
Before now, the defaulters were served demand notices based on the size of their signage but refused to pay.
Subsequently, they were sued and summoned to court but failed to show up or made any attempt to approach the agency to make their payment.
Consequently, the Revenue Court issued a sealing order against them and the enforcement team carried out the sealing of their premises this week.

The enforcement which is to be carried out across the state continues till the year ends.
