SON Awards MANCAP Re-certification To Dozzy Group

The Standards Organization of Nigeria, SON, has issued the Mandatory Conformity Assessment Program, MANCAP re-certification to indigenous manufacturing firm, Dozzy Oil and Gas Limited.

The presentation was made at the Anambra State office of SON in Awka, on the sideline of an event themed “Product Certification and Globalization”.

The Mandatory Conformity Assessment Program, MANCAP certification, is awarded to companies that have passed the standardization tests on quality production in conformity with the production guidelines issued solely by the Standards Organization of Nigeria, SON.

Dozzy Oil and Gas Limited was first issued the MANCAP certification a long time ago, with the current presentation a renewal of the certification after the compulsory three year expiration term.

With the re-certification to company, the production firm has once again been duly cleared and accredited as a genuine and trusted manufacturer.

Making the presentation, the Director General of SON, Mallam Farouk Salim, represented by the Anambra state Co-ordinator, Engineer Sunday Omoniyi, said that the product certification is the process of confirming that the products have passed performance tests and quality assurance tests as well as meets qualification criteria stipulated in contracts, regulations and specifications.

The SON DG also noted that Dozzy Group is the organization’s most formidable partner in eastern Nigeria, especially in Onitsha for over thirty years and has been leading in quality assurance, and called on them to always display their MANCAP certification and the product registration marks on their products.

Receiving the certificate, the General Manager of Dozzy Oil and Gas Limited, Mr Amechi Ifedinezi, said that the MANCAP certificate to Dozzy Lubricants is a product of hardwork, consistency and innovation, noting that Dozzy Lubricants is a household name and a brand to reckon with.

Mr Ifedinezi, assured that they will never compromise on standard and disclosed that they are aiming to launch their products in the international market, and appealed to the relevant authorities to address the issue of adulteration of their products by unknown companies.
