THE SOUTHERN PEOPLE CONGRESS (SPC) PRESENTED AN AWARD IN RECOGNITION OF HIS DYNAMIC AND PRAGMATIC LEADERSHIP IN THE LAGOS STATE HOUSE OF ASSEMBLY TO THE RT. HON. MUDASHIRU AJAYI OBASA, THE HONORABLE SPEAKER!

On Thursday the 14th, October 2021 SPC visited the leadership of the Lagos State House of Assembly to present an award to non-other than the speaker himself. Rt. Hon. Mudashiru A. Obasa for his expeditiously, dynamic and articulate style of leadership in state house of assembly and to lagosians in particular, since his reins as speaker of the house, Lagosians have seen the best of excessively “legislating” towards a better policy that have catered for the common man. The challenges and quest for good governance is being “pursued”on daily basis, thus there have also been good cordial relationship between the State government and the legislators, all arms working in unity.
The award for excellence performance for the year 2021 is in continuation of the mark of our 61st independence day, was received on his behalf by his Chief of Staff, Prince Sunday Akinremi Ladipo (JP)
In his response, he promised to convey our wishes to the honorable speaker, as he expressed his appreciation to the congress for awarding the honorable speaker whom he described as a “leader per excellence” that have exhibited a lot of quality changes to the state house of assembly and “Iko” in particular.
He, on behalf of the speaker promises to leverage on his good works, as he as he thanked the SPC for finding it necessary to give honour to whom is due, he also thanked our eagle eyes towards the state house of assembly.
The SPC National President, urged the speaker not to relent in his efforts as he continues expeditiously in quality legislating and pragmatic leadership as he dispatches laws that will make Lagos and lagosians benefits more from its policies.
