The president of Tanzania, Sammie Suluhu Hassan, has cancelled the 61st Independence Day celebration scheduled to hold on Friday.
The independence celebration was to cost $445,000 from the 2022 budget but was diverted to the building of dormitories for children with special needs around the country.
