TUC Gives Federal Government Two-Week Ultimatum to Conclude Negotiations or Face Protest

The Trade Union Congress of Nigeria (TUC) has issued a stern warning to the Federal Government, demanding the conclusion of negotiations within two weeks or face workers’ protest.

TUC threatens to take further action if tangible progress is not made by August 19, to alleviate the hardship faced by the masses.

Amid the harsh economic conditions in the country, the Trade Union Congress calls on the government to prioritize urgent actions on various fronts, including cash transfers, reduction of cost of governance, energy alternatives, and more.
