Femi Fani-Kayode, the spokesperson for the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential campaign council, has demanded that Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of Labour Party (LP), disclose the details of his detention by British immigration officers at Heathrow Airport in the United Kingdom.
Fani-Kayode stated that until Obi clarifies if he knowingly or unknowingly violated British laws during his detention, he cannot be trusted or taken seriously.
In response, Obi broke his silence on the matter, stating that he will never knowingly break any law and is committed to challenging the February election outcome.
The reason for his arrest has remained unknown, and the UK authorities declined comment on the matter.
