UNIPORT Lecturers Protest FG’s Unfair Treatment

Members of the Academic Staff Union of Universities in the University of Port Harcourt on Monday held a protest over what it termed maltreatment of lecturers.

They were seen carrying placards with different inscriptions. Some of the placards read, ‘No nation can properly develop without teachers,’ ‘Lecturers job: Teaching, research and community service,’ etc.
