University of Cambridge and Innmedics Global Pharm Limited Donate to PhilipAnna Foundation in Honor of Dame Anna Kolawole

The PhilipAnna Foundation of Nigeria received a generous donation from two esteemed organizations, the University of Cambridge and Innmedics Global Pharm Limited of India. The donations consisted of 200,000 text and workbooks worth N250 million, as well as medical consumables valued at over N8 million.

The gesture was made in honor of the late Dame Anna Kolawole, a visionary leader known for her remarkable contributions to the development of communities where she lived and worked during her lifetime.

According to a statement released by the PhilipAnna Foundation, Business Development Manager West Africa Taiwo Ayoola and Finance Manager of Cambridge University Press & Assessment Nigeria, Yewande Oni, expressed their delight at partnering with the foundation. They emphasized that the donations in kind were intended to support the areas covered by the Foundation’s humanitarian efforts.

In a heartfelt message, the University of Cambridge and Innmedics acknowledged the importance of the Foundation’s work and expressed their desire to contribute through providing educational materials to pupils in the regions supported by the foundation.

Mr. Jighar Mehta, the Managing Director for Innmedics, highlighted the necessity of collaboration between organizations like Innmedics and the PhilipAnna Foundation due to the high costs associated with healthcare. He affirmed his company’s commitment to fostering such partnerships in the future.

The Board of Trustees, represented by Mrs. Oluwakemi Ajakaiye, Managing Trustee Mrs. Temitope Phillips, and South-West Coordinator of the PhilipAnna Foundation, Gboyega Kehinde, expressed deep gratitude to the University of Cambridge and Innmedics Global Pharm Limited for their generous contributions.
