Prince Dr. Emeka Eze was born into the family of HRH, Igwe Dr. Walter Eze(OKOFIA V) of Ukpo Kingdom, Dunukofia.
As a medical practitioner and Nigerian military doctor, his father founded the renowned Toronto hospital, Onitsha. From a very young age, Prince Dr. Emeka Eze imbibed the culture of philanthropy and community service, emulating the lifestyle of his father who had earned the nickname, “The Right Man,” at the time.
Prince Dr. Emeka Uchenna Eze started his early education at Premier Primary School, Onitsha. He, thereafter, moved to Sherburne Preparatory School, Sherburne, Dorset England.
His secondary education kicked off at Aldenham Secondary school, Aldenham Elstree, Hertfordshire, England. He later returned to Nigeria and proceeded to Federal Government College, Port Harcourt to complete his secondary education.
After High school, the young prince, Dr. EMEKA EZE, proceeded to the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, where he studied microbiology. Afterward, he moved to the College of Medicine, University of Benin, to pursue a degree in medicine. He graduated as a medical doctor in Emeka Eze and is a proud holder of a Bachelor of medicine and surgery(MBS) from the University of Benin (MBBS).
He further bagged the fellowship degree of the Royal Society for the Encouragement of Arts, Science and Manufacturing (FRSA) at Adam Street, London in 2002.
As an erudite scholar and voracious reader, Prince Dr. Emeka Eze has been credited with the following honors:-
1) Diploma in public administration(PA Dip Hons) from the famous Institute of Journalism, Management and Continuing Education, Enugu.
2)Fellow of the Institution of Journalism, Management, and Continuing Education, Enugu.
3) Member of the 2000 outstanding intellectuals of the century for his outstanding contributions to medicine by the International Biography Center, Cambridge, England.
Prince Dr. Emeka Eze is the managing director of Toronto Hospital Onitsha. A position he has held since 1993 till Date. He is also the CEO of the Toronto Trade Centre and many other establishments.
Throughout his career as a medical practitioner, he has employed many youths and trained many nurses through his School of Nursing.
His love for education made him establish an educational foundation named, Walter EZE Memorial Education Foundation in 2018.
Recently he unveiled the TRAIN A CHILD TODAY ( TACT) Programme for students in the senior secondary classes in Dunukofia, Njikoka, and Anaocha.
True to his humanitarian nature, Prince Dr. Emeka Eze recently unveiled a free medical program for the good people of Dunukofia, Njikoka, and Anaocha Federal Constituency. This program is to aid pregnant women and as well ensure a safe cesarean section and delivery. It also accommodates free treatment for every other ailment.
Prince Dr. Emeka Eze remains one of our best and as such, we must support his candidacy to represent the good people of Dunukofia, Njikoka, and Anaocha Federal Constituency.
