Awka, Anambra State – The Anambra State Coordinator of the United Nations Youth Association of Nigeria (UNYA-NG), Eminent Ambassador Dr. Chude Arinze Timothy, has been honored with a Leadership Service Award by the Rotaract Club of Awka GRA. The recognition was presented during the installation ceremony of the club’s 19th President, Rtr. Kingsley Chikamso Chidiobi, held at De Geo-Gold Hotel and Suites, Awka.
According to the club’s leadership, the award was given in appreciation of Dr. Chude’s exceptional commitment to youth development, leadership excellence, and community service. The club described his impact as “a reflection of selfless leadership and a model for young people in Anambra State and beyond.”
In his response, Dr. Chude expressed profound gratitude to the Rotaract Club for the honor, describing it as a call to greater service.
“I greatly thank the entire leadership team of the Rotaract Club of Awka GRA for recognizing me on this very high capacity,” he said. “I dedicate this award to my outstanding UNYA-NG Anambra State executives, members of UNYA-NG Anambra, and the entire UNYA-NG leadership team and members. The event attracted several youth leaders, Rotarians, and advocates for community development who commended Dr. Chude for his consistent advocacy, vision-driven leadership, and dedication to empowering young people.
Dr. Chude, popularly known as “Aristotle,” continues to play a vital role in promoting youth participation, leadership training, and sustainable development initiatives across Anambra State and Nigeria at large.
