UPDATED: Gunmen Kidnap Former Anambra Lawmaker Hon. Sylvester Okeke Along Ring Road Awka

Daily News Reporters yesterday reported news of Gunmen who attacked and kidnapped unidentified occupants of two vehicles, one belonging to a yet-to-be-identified Anambra Legislator and one other vehicle along Ring Road in Awka, the capital of Anambra State.

Today, we received an update that one of the occupants of the two-vehicle kidnapped was a Former member of the Anambra State House of Assembly, Hon. Sylvester Okeke from Agulu.

The kidnapping incident happened on Friday, 14th October 2021; along Nibo- IsiAgu, ring-Road, in Anambra State.

It was gathered that the people are been robbed and kidnapped on that particular road despite security checkpoints along the road.
