Varsity Names UTME Top Scorer as Young Ambassador

Anchor University in Ayobo, Lagos, has named Kamsiyochukwu Umeh, the top scorer of the 2023 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) from Deeper Life High School in Mowe, as the Anchor University Young Ambassador for the 2022/2023 session. Umeh achieved a score of 360 in the examination.

As a gesture of recognition and celebration, Umeh has been awarded a full scholarship to pursue any course of her choice at Anchor University. The Vice-Chancellor of the institution, Prof. Samuel Oye Bandele, expressed pride in Umeh’s accomplishment and commended her for exemplifying excellence. He extended congratulations to the Deeper Life Bible Church, stating that Umeh’s achievement reflects the values the church upholds.

In addition to Umeh, the top 10 students in the UTME from Deeper Life High School were also granted tuition-free scholarships for their outstanding performance.

Prof. Bandele further announced that the admission process for the next academic session has commenced. He also shared that Anchor University, a faith-based institution, will be admitting students into its Post Graduate Programmes, offering PGD, M.Sc, MBA, and Ph.D degrees in Computer Science, Microbiology, and Business Administration.
