Ozonkpu Victor Ike Oye is a weak leader. His weakness is responsible for the mess that’s going on in APGA today. While national chairmen of other political parties are at Abuja where party members could come and consult them, Oye locked the APGA secretariat Abuja and has been at Amawbia Awka, always under the mango tree in his house waiting for those who are coming to donate money for another scam tagged 4-storey APGA state secretariat office he said he wants to complete before November 6 governorship election.
His weakness has destroyed APGA. He has not shown direction to the party leaders and members. Despite his warning on April 18, that all media teams of APGA Aspirants should desist from UNHEALTHY MEDIA wars or face DIRE CONSEQUENCES, the situation has degenerated and Oye is helpless.
In the last 48 hours, there has been abuses, insults and destructive propaganda being carried by media teams of the APGA Aspirants agaisnt each other.
U-AYA started the madness by issuing a Press Statement onbehalf APGA of leadership condemning the anticipated declaration of Hon Ifeanyi Momah and accusing some APGA leaders of bribing some persons with 2 billion naira to destabilize the party. Who is U-AYA to issue a statement onbehalf of APGA leadership and Oye kept mute.
While that accusation was about to settle, the media team of Prof Soludo led by Mbanugo Onyeka authored a piece captioned, “Umeoji: Preferred by the opposition, despised by his party.”
One Chinedu Obigwe Akaekpuchionwa is at one corner abusing Hon Uchenna Okafor, Wiper, the Honourable commissioner for trade and commerce for daring to allow some groups lobby for the deputy Governorship slot for him.
Akaekpuchionwa who is the chief media officer of Prof Soludo had earlier abused Bianca Ojukwu and used gutter languages on her for asking Oye to account for the 2019 donations and money he collected from Aspirants before embarking on another 4-storey building project at Awka.
This morning, the camp of Umeoji has authored a reply to the Soludo team on their allegation that Umeoji is liked by the opposition even when his party despised him.
At the other end, Comr Chuma of Ogbono soup who anchors Nze Akachukwu Nwankpo media is not smiling. He has been sending warnings asking trouble makers to avoid him.
In all these, where is Oye who issued a statement of warning. Why was he ignored? Why was his order not obeyed?
Party Members no longer regard Oye because he surrendered his powers to Aguleri cabal. There is this latest information picked up by AIF Media lately that Oye has been told to print only two nomination forms.
Oye is being forced to block other Aspirants from buying the nomination forms. He will only sell to Momah and Soludo. Only two of them will go for primaries. But Oye who wants to make money for his 2023 Senatorial agenda prefer to sell nomination forms to all the aspirants at 22 million naira. If he sells to all aspirants, the screening Committee will be asked to disqualify others and clear only Momah and Soludo for primaries.
Oye is weak and it is sad that APGA is collapsing on his head. Prof Soludo media team can not be controlled or obey Oye’s order because he sold out his powers and rights to non party leaders who mess up the party while all the blames are heaped on him.
Oye lost it when he couldn’t control the Aguleri cabal who gave order that no APGA Aspirant other than Soludo should be allowed to enter the party secretariat Awka.
