The Young Progressives Party in Anambra Central is working tirelessly to win the support and votes of the electorate and cruise to victory in the zone. The senatorial candidate of the party in Anambra Central for the forthcoming general election, High Chief Dr Chinedu Chinedu Anthony Umeadi yesterday 20th February 2023, lead his campaign team to visit Isiagu, Umuawulu, Mbaukwu, Nise in Awka South and Adazi nnukwu in Anaocha LGA to deliver his message of recovery of the Zone.
In his speech at the respective towns visited, the mammoth crowd gathered to welcome him at the various venues where Dr Umeadi emphasized the need for the communities to embrace the new order by voting YPP in the forthcoming general election, as the party is committed to giving Ndi Anambra Central quality representation because other political parties that were allowed to represent them failed woefully. He went further to explain in detail his good plans for Ndi Anambra Central and possible ways they can be achieved.
He charged the party faithful to engage in voter education and door-to-door campaigns, to ensure a resounding victory for the party.
The community leaders and some party faithful, who spoke on behalf of others, welcomed Dr Umeadi and his team with open arms. They eulogized him for his humanitarian service through his foundation over the years.
In their words, ” We are here to register our solidarity and support for the following reasons, first, we are tired of negligence from these old politicians who only remember us during the campaign period, afterwards, they will vanish with our mandate to come back after 4yrs, secondly, we have taken out time to investigate your personality and qualifications and have come to the conclusion that you deserve to represent us and because of these reasons we are assuring you that we will mobilize our people to support you and give you victory come Saturday 25th February 2023.
He was accompanied on the visit by the State Chairman of Ypp Hon. Prince Moses Obi, The Director General of his campaign organization, Hon Ichie Peter Ozumba, the house of representatives candidate for Awka North and South Constituency Hon. Chukwudozie Kingsley Uyammadu (Otoshi Achalla), the state house of assembly candidate for Awka South 2 Constituency, Hon. Jerry Alocha,(Ozomma nibo) and other members of his campaign team.
