…As His Medical Outreach ended With total of 761 free Surgeries

The 4th Engr Chris Emeka Azubogu Medical Outreach came to an end yesterday with a total of 761 surgeries recorded from the Medical Outreach that started on 30th November, 2020 and ended on 7th December 2020.

A total of 340 Eye surgeries were performed at the Diocesan Hospital, Akwudo-Nnewi which is the centre designated for eye related surgeries, while 421 general surgeries were performed at the Joint Hospital, Ozubulu.

“Though we targeted 1000 free surgeries, but achieved a total of 761 free surgeries at the just concluded Medical Outreach, to me, this is another reason to celebrate God. May I also thank the Medical team led by Dr Joseph Kigbu and all the volunteers for the successful Medical Outreach” Engr Azubogu stated.

Meanwhile, over 15,000 patients with various medical issues were attended to during the Medical Outreach to the glory of God.

Engr Azubogu reiterated that data generated from the Medical Outreach could be use for effective Health Service Delivery in Anambra State.
