Weeks After Hostel Shooting, Fire Engulfs UNIBEN Ekehuan Campus [VIDEO]

Early this afternoon, thick smoke was spotted coming out of a part of the mini campus.

Curious students and staff ran to the scene and discovered that one of the hostels was on fire.

Students of the institution tried to put out the fire but it was to no avail.

The security of the school called for firemen who rushed to the scene of the fire and were aided by students.

As of now no casualty has been recorded and the cause of the fire is still unknown.

Some students however believe that it was caused by leaking gas, while others believe it is the fault of some electrical mishap.

Though the fire has been put out, smoke still surrounds the hostel.

A few weeks ago, however, an unidentified student was shot in his hostel room.
