Woman Who Refused To Sell Her Vote For N5000 Gets one Million (1000,000) Naira Reward From Gov. Obiano

The Governor of Anambra State, Chief Dr Willie Obiano this evening commended Mrs Eunice Ngozi Onuegbusi from Ukwulu, Dunukofia LGA of Anambra State for refusing to sell her vote for 5000 naira to the APC agent at Polling Unit 04, Ukwulu (Amagu village) Ward 1.

Narrating the incident, Mrs Onuegbusi narrated how the APC polling agent tried to buy her vote offering 5000 naira but she insisted on voting according to her conscience.

Governor Obiano who acknowledged and extolled her honorable virtues during his speech at the Election Victory/Thanksgiving Mass this evening at the Gechy Auditorium in Aguleri expressed the need for citizens to imbibe such characters and high integrity as fundamentals towards achieving a better democracy. He thereby announced a reward of one million naira (N1000,000) as encouragement gift.

However, with everyone imbibing the Eunice example, our society will be a better place.
