Think about this man, a poor husband, who is saddled with the inevitable cesarean route to welcome a very necessary baby into his family in this COVID-19-impoverished Christmas period. He was visiting friends and relatives to raise over N200,000 required and practically having very minimal success.
But boom! Engr Chris Emeka Azubogu Fourth Free Medical Outreach arrived at the appropriate time. This husband got his dear wife delivered of their third baby via the expert knives of the lead surgeon himself, Dr Joseph Kigbu at the Joint Hospital, Ozubulu on December 3.
Imagine the burden relieved off the poor shoulders of this man! Imagine the relief and the joy this man is going through this Christmas! Guess what? For the three days his wife and baby were recuperating at the hospital, this man continued to sing, “nothing will stop God from blessing this man called Chris Azubogu.”
This is the same level of relief implanted in the other 760 beneficiaries of different levels of surgeries achieved within the eight-day period that this landmark exercise lasted. Some of the surgeries cost way above a million naira.
Leadership is mostly about providing the basic needs of the people and nothing could be more basic than Healthcare. Hon Chris Azubogu is called Mr Project because of his numerous projects attractions and executions, but in this medical outreach project, he has cut really deeper, comparatively.
This is a man very #PreparedToServe.
