Following the Inauguration of 13th Zonal Command of Nigeria Police Force in Ukpo, Dunukofia Local Government Area of Anambra State by the Inspector General of Police, Mr. Mohammed Adamu which will be in charge of Anambra, Enugu, and Ebonyi States, the Anambra Oil Magnet and Billionaire Philanthropist, Prince Engr. Arthur Ikpechukwu Eze – Ọzọigbondu is leading the New AIG of Police in charge of the Zone, Mr. Mohammed Danmallam on familiarization tour across the major cities of Anambra State.
The duo were on Tuesday 21st July, 2020 received in Nnewi Royal Palace by the Traditional Ruler of Nnewi Community, HRM Igwe Kenneth Orizu and the Senator representing Anambra South Senatorial District cum Founder of AfaIgboEfuna Movement, Senator Dr. Ikemba Ifeanyi Ubah.
Speaking during the visit, Arthur Eze said that the familiarization visit is necessary as it will enable the new AIG to know and meet with the people under his protection. He said the new zonal command was an addition to strengthening the existing security in the South-east zone. Prince Eze reiterated that he has been a good friend to Nnewi Community from the olden days and that Senator Ifeanyi Ubah representing Anambra South Senatorial District who is also from Nnewi is his bosom friend, hence his decision to personally bring the AIG into the community.
Senator Ubah who was represented by the State Coordinator of AfaIgboEfuna Movement, Mr. Mbazulike Iloka – Mba Mba poured encomiums on the Oil Magnet, Prince Arthur Eze, saying he has not only provided tighter security to the good people of Anambra State but, he has positioned the state as the heart of southeast geopolitical zone. He stated that Anambra South is grateful and will always render their supports where and when necessary.
The traditional ruler of Nnewi Community, Igwe Orizu releasing his royal blessings urged the new AIG to do what is expected of him while manning the newly created Zone 13.
Responding, the new AIG, Mohammed Danmallam thanked the traditional ruler and Founder AfalgboEfuna Movement, Senator Ubah for their warmth acceptance and promised to work for greater peace and security in the states under the new zonal command.
The three political structures of Senator Ubah; Afa Igbo Efuna Movement, Active Voters Solidarity for Ifeanyi Ubah and Ifeanyi Ubah Solidarity Movement were on ground to welcome Prince Eze and AIG Danmallam in the Nnewi Palace.
