PDP Deputy Guber Candidate Says God Called Them To Change Lagos

Lagos Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Deputy governorship candidate, Funke Akindele has attributed her emergence in the political sphere to divine providence.

The actress-turned-politician claimed God called the PDP governorship candidate, Abdul-Azeez Adediran (Jandor) and herself to transform the story of Lagos.

Akindele stated this on Sunday at the Surulere district of Ayo Ni O Cherubim and Seraphim Movement Church in Badagry.

She stated her emergence as the running mate for Jandor was divinely orchestrated as there were several other persons vying for that position.

“We were called by God, if not we would have backed out,” NAN quoted her saying.

She assured that the team would “change the story of Lagos State” for the better.
