Basketmouth confirms separation from wife after social media announcement

Popular comedian, Bright Okpocha, better known as Basketmouth, has confirmed that he has indeed separated from his wife, Elsie.

The announcement was made on social media in December 2022 after 12 years of marriage. However, some people dismissed it as a joke.

In an interview with Ghana television station, TV3NewDay, Basketmouth confirmed the separation, stating that he does not bring his personal matters to a public platform but he had to make the announcement for reasons known to him.

The comedian also recently announced his plans to quit comedy in five years to venture into other fields.
