Indigenes of Abba and Nimo towns in Njikoka LGA were excited as High Chief Dr Chinedu Anthony Umeadi (Agunaechemba na Abagana), the Young progressives party candidate for Anambra central senatorial district election, visited the communities in continuation of his tour of the 59 Communities that make up Anambra Central.

Dr Umeadi and his campaign team first visited the royal palaces of Igwe Abba HRM Igwe L.N Eze and later that of Nimo HRM Igwe Max Ikeolibo ( Owelle of Nimo) for a brief courtesy visit to the royal father before he proceeded to his campaign tours around those communities.

At their respective rally venues, Dr Umeadi used the opportunity to outline in detail his developmental plans for the good people of Anambra Central and why he wants to represent them. In his words, “Over the years we have not had it right in terms of quality representation, our past and present senators have used us enough and it is time we take our destinies into our hands and elect the person that will give us a desired satisfactory representation we wish and I am offering myself to go and make a difference at the Senate chamber and bring home the core dividends of democracy “. I am here to solicit your votes and support, I promise that I will not let you down he added.

In response, Ndi Abba and Nimo who took turns to speak at the rallies unanimously agreed to vote for Dr Umeadi, noting that he has all it takes to achieve the greater Anambra central we all dream for. They reassured him of their willingness to mobilize their people to ensure victory for Dr Umeadi in the forthcoming poll.

He was accompanied on the visit by the state chairman of YPP, Hon Prince Moses Obi, the Director General of Dr Chinedu Umeadi’s campaign organization, Hon Ichie Peter Ozumba, Perock, and members of his campaign organization.
