Anambra state government lands slated as Farm Settlement in Igbariam, Oyi Council Area have been recovered by the state Joint Task Force on Government Land Recovery.
The Joint Task Force led by the state Physical Planning Board paid an enforcement visit to the area where fences had already been erected.
The fences alleged to be illegal structures were pulled down even as the developers did not obtain government approval before embarking on such projects.
The enforcement exercise became neccessary as all warnings to the developers to stop work, fell on dead ears.
