Anambra South 2023: Azubogu meets with the leadership of CWO

Azubogu meets with the leadership of CW

“Yesterday, 13th August 2022, I engaged and interacted with the Leadership of the Catholic Women Organization (CWO) of Nnewi Catholic Diocese at the Marian House, Nnewi during their Annual General Meeting.

In the cause of our interaction, I highlighted tangible results that accrued from our partnership over the years, especially in the areas of Human Capital Development, Infrastructure, Education, Healthcare Delivery, women empowerment, etc.

Going forward, we agreed on the need for all hands to be on deck; particularly with regards to creating enabling environment for job creation to mitigate youth unemployment.

We also appreciated the effort of Mr. Governor, Prof. Charles Chukwuma Soludo and the rapid progress he has recorded in the area of restoration of security of lives and property in the state. And reiterated the need for well-meaning residents of the state to support the Governor to achieve his vision of building a liveable and prosperous Anambra state.

Lastly but very importantly, we resolved that there is an urgent need to regenerate and rekindle the right values and decorum necessary at the family unit for proper upbringing of children. Families are thus urged to pay extra attention to shaping and molding the character of their wards at the home front to guarantee a safer and better society.

Meanwhile, my running for senate is to partner with our governor and sustain the

#PoliticsOfDevelopment in our zone.”
